School of the Osage brought home some hardware over the weekend.
The Indians traveled to Boonville for tournament action against five other schools and Osage came out on top in every match of the round-robin style tournament to capture first place. It was a busy week for Osage, but the ending was more than worth it.
“It was a 12-hour tournament an after being on the road three nights last week, our team impressed everyone with their focus and determination to stay strong all day,” Osage coach Brandy Hutzler said.
Eliza Koeppen and Elise Davis won the No. 1 and No. 2 singles flights while the duo of Natalie Brick and Kylie Misenheimer topped the field in the No. 1 doubles flight and the team of Jasmine Kirby and Alyssa Pittenger won the No. 3 doubles flight.. The Indians also saw strong results from Maddie Amsinger and Lily Davis who finished second in the No. 2 doubles flight respectively.
Osage, now 3-0 in the regular season with a tournament title in hand, will look to stay perfect at Waynesville Tuesday night at 4 p.m., before visiting Father Tolton on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
