Osage finishes third in home quad with Lebanon, Rolla and Waynesville

School of the Osage hosted a trio of teams from the Ozark Conference as Lebanon, Rolla and Waynesville came up to Osage National to take their swings on Thursday night.

After nine holes it was Lebanon who won the quad with a team score of 154 while Rolla finished second with 169 and the Indians third at 174.

"The weather was beautiful and the course was in great condition," Osage coach L.J. Weeks said. "All three schools we hosted are quite a bit larger than Osage. Lebanon and Rolla have some very good players so the competition was good. Even though we did not win, we had our best varsity team score so far this year and this is very good as we host conference next week and then go to Eldon for Districts on May 1."

Osage's Jacob Krantz tied for the low round of the day with two other golfers after putting up a score of 38. Chance Foster and Collin Thomas both shot a 45, Nick Riley finished the day with a 46 and Connor Thomas rounded things up with a score of 49.

Up next for the Indians is a trip to rival Lebanon on Monday at 4 p.m.

We will have Monday and Tuesday matches to help prepare for conference," Eldon coach Matt Frey said. "The boys have done great this year living up to the expectations we set for the season. I look forward to last few weeks of the season to see what these boys can accomplish."
