Camdenton takes down Waynesville
Camdenton made a trip to Ozark Conference foe Waynesville Tuesday night and the Lakers came away with a 4-2 win.
“The girls showed a ton of heart to play hard in that environment and I am proud of the result and how they continued to chip away at the score,” Camdenton coach Chris Byington stated.
Natalie Schulte paced Camdenton with two goals, Aeryn Kennedy also placed a shot in the back of the net and Ireland Betta put together an 18-yard strike that found the corner.
Camdenton (7-3) will get ready for tournament play when the Lakers visit Moberly for a two-day tournament that begins on Friday.
Osage drops match to Lebanon
School of the Osage came to Lebanon Tuesday night with some momentum.
The Indians were coming off a 3-1 over Dixon on Monday, but unfortunately the host school was ready to defend their own pitch as they shutout the Indians 5-0.
Osage falls to 3-8 on the season and will host Bolivar on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
