A few lake area bowlers have had no trouble knocking down the pins lately.

Frequent Westside Lanes bowlers Sharon McDowell and Lulu Zlateff of Laurie recently won every single event in their age division at the Missouri State Senior Championship in Jefferson City and will be representing the state of Missouri at the Senior National Tournament in Las Vegas in August. Sharon’s daughter Regie McDowell Mitchell also put together a solid performance winning the singles championship for her division in St. Charles.

Meanwhile another bowler across the lake at Eagle Lanes in Osage Beach recently bowled a perfect game.

Angie Milligan put up a perfect score of 300 for the first time in her life and she also became the first woman to ever do so at Eagle Lanes.

The Lake Sun will follow up on these recent accomplishments as more information becomes available.
