Eldon hosted School of the Osage, Versailles and the rest of the Tri-County Conference at Mustang Memorial Park on Thursday night to decide the best of the conference.

After every runner had crossed the finish line, the Osage girls finished third while the boys finished fourth, the Eldon girls took fourth while the boys took fifth and the Versailles boys earned sixth while the girls did not have runners to record a team score.

The girls’ race featured a total of 39 runners and Osage’s Micah Hill took the top time for the Indians as she earned fifth with a time of 21 minutes and 45 seconds. Karlie Minnehan placed 10th at 22:26, Nevaeh Henley earned 11th at 22:45, Megan Douglas finished 17th at 23:28, Destin Allen took 20th at 23:53, Reagan Page took 25th at 24:43 and Keely Wersching rounded things up in 29th at 26:07.

Eldon’s Faith Parrent was the top runner for the Mustangs as she finished sixth at 21:59. Nicole Reynolds earned eighth at 22:12, Jada Sullens finished 24th at 24:40, Kelsey Wallis took 26th at 24:53 and Madison McGinnis came away with a 30th place finish at 26:07.

The Tigers of Versailles had two runners representing the girls’ team and it was Allison Taylor who earned the top time in 13th place at 22:51 while Keely Gustafson took 19th at 23:42.

The boys’ race featured a field of 52 runners and Versailles’ Kendall Reger earned the top time for the Tigers taking second place at 17:59. Juan Comstock earned 31st at 20:19, Joe Jefferies finished 36th at 20:38, Cylan Burns took 40th at 21:02, Trent Hyman finished 41st at 21:11, Bobby Love took 44th at 21:21 and Kutter Baumgartner finished 50th at 23:23.

School of the Osage’s Chase Grosvenor was the fastest runner for the Indians as she finished 13th at 18:53. Cooper Vickers earned 17th at 19:28, Micah Lehenbauer took 21st at 19:44, Derrick Puckett finished 23rd at 19:45, Payton Bartlett took 25th at 19:55, Stephen Crosby finished 26th at 20:03 and Dale Lampe finished 32nd at 20:21.

Eldon’s Caleb Cotten was the top runner for the Mustangs as he finished 19th at 19:37. Austin Oberiether finished 20th at 19:41, Cole Hawkin took 24th at 19:55, Isiaih Simmons finished 29th at 20:16, Edward Wester took 35th at 20:35, Anthony Olivares earned 43rd at 21:16 and Chase Fitzpatrick took 51st at 24:13.

The girls runners who made All-Conference were Hill, Minnehan and Henley for Osage, Parrent and Reynolds for Eldon and Taylor for Versailles. On the boys’ side, it was Reger who earned All-Conference for Versailles while Grosvenor earned the honor for Osage.

School of the Osage was in action at St. Francis Borgia over the weekend and the Indians will be back on the course for districts on October 29th in Salisbury, Mo. Eldon will visit Mexico on Tuesday night at 4:15 p.m., and Versailles will be in action at Fatima on Saturday along with Eldon at 9 a.m.
