Lake West Christian Academy held a commencement ceremony May 18 for its sole graduating senior Alexis Renfroe and four graduating kindergarteners. Also honored at the ceremony were students who earned the Presidential Excellence Award for outstanding academic excellence.

Lake Lens: OBE's end of the year picnic

Did we catch you in our lake lens at OBE's end of the year picnic? School is out and summer break has officially begun. Before the last school bell rang for the 2012-2013 school year, students at Camdenton's Osage Beach Elementary celebrated with an end of the year picnic. Students took to playground equipment, enjoyed bubbles, tried hula-hooping, hit the ground running on the kick-ball field, got their face painted, played water games and more.

Career on Wheels fair

Dogwood Elementary students toured the Career on Wheels fair on Friday. Professionals spoke about their career and the students were able to get inside the vehicles, as well.
