1 A buyer for Stoneridge who will actually live up to the potential the outdoor venue has to offer: concerts of all types all summer long that will make Lake of the Ozarks a place to come and Stoneridge Amphitheater a place to go.

3 No news that could be interpreted as a sign of the Apocalypse. Floods, disease and pestilence were enough for one week. Then again, as heat continues to build in the early stages of summer, heat stroke issues become more and more of a threat, so take precautions, drink plenty of clear fluids, eat well and take time to cool off once in a while. And health authorities say avoid alcohol, too.
4 Developers who deliver what they promise, especially when they lobby long and hard to have the neighborhood cleared of undesireable elements, then let the land sit vacant before putting up a sizeable chunk of it for sale.
5 Results from DNR on the latest lake water quality tests, While we wait and ask, and ask and wait for results from the first round of water testing conducted by LOWA volunteers just after the Memorial Day weekend, news broke that the beaches at Lake of the Ozarks State Park had been closed. A week later, and still no word from Missouri’s public servants at DNR; and a month after Memorial day? Reminds us of a Manfred Mann album title – “The Roaring Silence.” It’s simply not acceptable.
