Until he stands I will not attend another Chiefs game, and I really will miss that, but I too have the right to attend or not attend, and I do intend to send this to other Chiefs fans and encourage them to do the same thing.

To: Clark Hunt, and the KC Chiefs organization

I live in Central Mo, Lake of the Ozarks, and have been a die hard Chiefs fan for many decades. For years I attended every home game and tail gated at lamp post C-7 with Belly Boy and the tom tom gang.

I was there for the playoff game in the ice and snow against Denver and hated it when Elvis who hadn't played on regular season game due to injury replaced Trent Green and then at the last play of the game threw into traffic when Marcus Allen was wide open in the end zone and cost us the game and playoff picture

I was there when 7 inches of rain fell in an hour during the Seattle game and the game was halted due to lightening

For years I never missed a home game.

I now spend my winters in Florida and can only go to games in Sep and Oct.

This year I will not be going to any game for the following reason.

Clark Hunt needs to put an end to the unpatriotic actions of Marcus Peters. For him to sit during the Anthem which honored the first responders who risked their lives during the hurricanes is not acceptable. I am a 32 year veteran firefighter and a 6 year Army veteran so his actions deeply hurt me. I am all for freedom of expression and the right to assemble to protest, however, the football field is not one of those acceptable places to do so.

He needs to be told that he is an employee of the Chiefs, and as so when in uniform he represents the Chiefs organization. When he sits, and nothing is done about it, to me that means the Chiefs organization approves of his disrespect to the flag, the Anthem and fighting men and women who risk their lives so that he can play football and earn a huge salary

Until he stands I will not attend another Chiefs game, and I really will miss that, but I too have the right to attend or not attend, and I do intend to send this to other Chiefs fans and encourage them to do the same thing.
