Wanda H. Edmondson, 87, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 4, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Hargrove, of Fort Scott, Kansas.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James (Eddie) Edmondson, two children; James Edmondson, Jr., and wife, Linda, of Cabot, Arkansas and Kent Edmondson and wife, Sue Ann, of Blue Springs, Missouri; five grandchildren, Christopher Edmondson and wife Jennifer, Timothy Edmondson and wife Kristi, Andrew Edmondson and Doll Gilleo, Joelle Donoho and husband Jason, Jenny Pace and husband Daniel; seven great-grandchildren, Eliana Edmondson, Riley Edmondson, Tyler Edmondson, Lane Donoho, Luke Donoho, Lily Pace and Jack Pace. In addition, she is survived by one sister, Winifred Clausing and husband Gerald of Fort Belvoir, Virginia; and one brother, Wilbur Hargrove of Coffeyville, Kansas.
Wanda was an active member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton, Missouri. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing and play the organ. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
Interment will be at Pleasanton Cemetery in Dedrick, Missouri.
