Kati Rae Scott, 49, of Gravois Mills, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
She was born Aug. 23, 1960, in Aurora, Ill., the daughter of the late Donald Black and Diane Rae Ulery Scott.
Kati grew up in Warrensville, Ill., and was active in the Warrensville VFW Auxiliary #8081 where she served as president for several years before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1988.
She is survived by her boyfriend Robert Livernash; two sons, Bryan Blake Scott and fiancé Sarah Akin, of Windsor, Mo., and Christopher Lee Matzke, of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; one daughter, Heather Marie (Matzke) Scott and husband Jason of Gravois Mills, Mo.; three grandchildren, Logan Blake Scott, Aidan Richard Scott, and Aidan Richard Scott; three brothers, Gary Blake Scott and wife Kathy, of Sugar Grove, Ill., Mark Allen Scott and wife Sue, of Sandwich, Ill., and Neal Thomas Scott and wife Sigrid, of Glenpool, Okla.; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Rae Matzke.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home.
