73, dedicated her life to caring for her family
Anna White, 73, of Mission, Kan., passed peacefully Nov. 12, 2009, after a difficult struggle with her health.
She was born March 25, 1936, to Lester and Lola (Nations) Woodall in Macks Creek. Anna was raised and graduated from high school in Macks Creek.
She married her husband, Willard White, on March 10, 1953, in Macks Creek, where they resided for 16 years. Anna, her husband Willard, and their children moved to Mission, Kan., in 1969, where she’s resided since.
Anna dedicated her life to caring for her family. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; her parents, Lola and Lester; brothers, Sherman Woodall, Billy Woodall and Arnold Woodall; and sisters, June Shiek and Edith North.
She is survived by children, Lisa (Paul) Cullen, Billy (Gina) White, John (Pam) White, and Melanie (Chris) McGirr. She loved her grandchildren, Dori White, Kaitlyn White, Mike White, Alex McGirr, and Kylee McGirr. She is also survived by her sisters, Dee (Paul) Krahenbuhl and Bonnie (Bill) Husong.
Visitation and funeral service were Sunday, Nov. 15, at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. Interment is in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
