Susan Mae Lynn, 85, of Camdenton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, with her family by her side.
Susan was born in Detroit, Mich., on July 25, 1924.
She was the cherished wife of 47 years of Robert Lynn, and the wonderful mother of Janet Petersen and her husband Dan of Lowell, Mich., Carl Shepley of Tollhouse, Calif., Kenneth Lynn and his wife Robin of Belding, Mich., and Thomas Lynn of Rockford, Mich.
Susan had seven grandchildren, Cheri Horan, Mark Anthony Lynn, Carl Ray Shepley, Kamie Sue Jakeway, Brian Arthur Lynn, Jeffery Delbert Thurlow, and Justin Dean Kelly; also surviving are one brother, Alexander Tellish and his wife Bea of Westland, Mich., and one sister Patricia Kula and her husband Al of Lakeland, Fla., along with several other relatives and friends.
Susan was a telephone operator, a nurses aid and a volunteer in many areas. She worked at Jolly Kids Togs and Giles Sewing as a machine operator. She also was an employee of Meijer Supermarkets in Greenville, Mich.
She was a member of United Brethren in Christ Church. More than anything, she enjoyed being a homemaker and doing things for her family.
A funeral service celebrating her life has been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan, Mich. The family will receive friends for visitation in Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Local visitation will be Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at the Hedges- Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton.
Interment will be at Clear Lake Cemetery in Fenwick, Mich.
