18, Camdenton HS senior enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, working, golfing and spending time with friends
Korey James Davis, 18, of Linn Creek, Mo., passed away Tuesday afternoon from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
He was born on June 6, 1991, in Osage Beach, Mo. a son of Mathew and Karen (Stover) Davis.
Korey was a senior at Camdenton High School. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, working, golfing and spending time with his many friends.
Korey is survived by his mother, Karen Davis, father, Matthew Davis, and one brother, Kurtis Davis, all of Linn Creek; maternal grandfather; O’Dean Stover, of Camdenton, Mo.; paternal grandparents Lloyd and Glendel Davis, of Crocker, Mo.; aunts Stacy Polton and husband Steve, of Columbia, Mo., Krista Schackleford and husband Darin, of Camdenton, Gwen Hein and husband Marcus, of Springdale, Ark., Ann Davis, of Florida, and Jerrie Davis, of Crocker;, uncles Kevin Stover, of Linn Creek, Joe Davis, of Brumley, Mo., and Bruce Davis, of Kansas City, Mo.; cousins Ryan and Niki Shackleford, Tanner and Madison Hein, Cody Polton, Bonnie Sue Wheeler and Eddie Davis.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dolores Stover.
Korey was a loving son, brother and friend. He cherished his life and lived it to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him.
Funeral services will be Friday July 3, 2009, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday prior to the service. Interment will be in the Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton.
Memorials may be given to an education fund for Korey’s brother Kurtis.
