Sandra Lee Sharp, 63, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at her home.
She was born June 12, 1946, in Warren, Mich., the daughter of Ivan and Erma Barton Langley.
On Aug. 1, 1964, in Troy, Mich., she was united in marriage to Jim Sharp, who survives of the home.
Sandy sold real estate for Sutherland Real Estate in Greenview for several years, and later worked as a personal care aide at the Laurie Knolls.
She was a member of the Crossroad Church in Sunrise Beach, and the Westside Roses Red Hat Club. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by two sons, Ryan Sharp of the home and Mark Sharp of Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Julie Kaboudan of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Kayleigh Kaboudan, Amara Kaboudan, Adam Kaboudan, Maxwell Sharp, and Layne Sharp; her mother, Erma Langley of Lansing, Mich.; her sister, Nancy Abbott of Lansing; her brother, Robert Langley of Sterling Heights, Mich.; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Langley.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Crossroad Church in Sunrise Beach with Pastor Tony Corado officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri River Hospice, 1440 Aaron Court, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
