57, enjoyed music and riding on anything motorized, will long be remembered for his high fives
James “Jim” Clayton Schooling, 57, of Edwards, Mo., left us to sit at the feet of Our Lord Almighty and be with his father, on June 28, 2009, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Mo.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1952, the son of Maurice “Jack” and Marie Schooling.
Jim now has given the last of so many high fives. He shed his old body for a new one and can now run, talk, and play with all. All his handicaps are now gone.
He enjoyed music and riding on anything motorized, like the jet ski, boat, tractor, and 4-wheeler, or even a drive in the car. Jim was given a good life and now must move on to others who love him.
Jim was born in Kansas City, Kan., and lived most of his life in Overland Park, Kan. At the time of his departure, Jim was living with his mother, sister, and brother-in-law at the Lake of the Ozarks in Edwards.
He is preceded in death by his father Maurice “Jack” Schooling.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Schooling, two sisters, Janet Lewis and her husband Robert, and Sharon Patterson and her husband Patrick; four nephews Tony Burks, Scott Basinger, Jerry Basinger, and Fred LaMonte.
Jim will be missed by his family, neighbors, and friends and will be long remembered for his high fives.
The family wishes to especially thank those that worked with Jim in the ICU of Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, and the doctors that gave Jim their best care, and the friends that inquired about his well being.
