84, food catering professional loved fishing
Christina C. Hammers, 84, of Omaha, Neb., passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at St. Joseph Villa Nursing Home in Omaha.
She was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Wet Glaize, Mo., a daughter to John and Relza (Reid) Davis.
She was married to Jewell S. Hammers on Oct. 14, 1945, in Wet Glaize. He preceded her in death.
Christina had been in the food catering business in Kansas City, Mo. She enjoyed fishing in her spare time, but more than anything, she loved her family dearly.
She is survived by one son, John D, Hammers of Omaha; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with a number of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one daughter, Carolyn Bartlett, and one son, Howard L. Hammers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 2, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Mo. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 a.m. till service time at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Montreal Cemetery in Montreal, Mo.
