91, Army Air Force vet ministered for 41 years
Frank E. Loehr, 91, of Gravois Mills, Mo., passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009, at his home.
He was born July 24, 1917, in Fayette, Mo., the son of the late George Henry and Lorenda Ada Wolcott Loehr.
On Aug. 24, 1940, in Belton, Mo., Frank was united in marriage to Emma Gene Reeder, who survives of the home.
Frank was a minister for 41 years, serving churches in Madison, Kan., Liberal, Mo., Stoutland, Mo., and was currently the Minister Emeritus at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, where he was a member.
He was a United States Army Air Force veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roger Loehr and Lavonia Banks of Gravois Mills, and Tom Loehr and wife Vickie of Gravois Mills; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 27, at the Belton Cemetery in Belton, Mo. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, June 28, at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, Mo., with the Rev. Jack Daniel officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Building Fund at the West Lake Christian Church.
