Charles was an accountant for Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis before retiring to Lebanon, and then to the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Chapel in Osage Beach where he served as an elder.

Charles Leonard Lashley, age 80, of Camdenton passed away Wednesday, September 20 at Lake Regional Health System.

Charles was the son of Leonard and Wilma (Buehler) Lashley, born April 7, 1937 in Festus, Missouri.

On January 14, 1961 in Crystal City, Missouri, Charles was united in marriage to Valeria Gassier.

They had shared 56 loving years of marriage together at the time of his death.

Charles was an accountant for Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis before retiring to Lebanon, and then to the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Chapel in Osage Beach where he served as an elder. He enjoyed wood carving, and spending his days outdoors playing golf, camping, boating and fishing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife Valeria of the home; son, Todd and his wife Ann, and their son Joshua, of Camdenton; two brothers: David and his wife Sharon of Webster Grove, Missouri; and Greg and his wife Gayle of Orlando, Florida.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Wilma Lashley.

Services will be held Monday, September 25 at 3 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton. The family will receive friends for visitation from 2-3 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Hedges-Scott Cemetery in Camdenton.
