Donna later moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., where she raised her family. She was a devoted mother who took great pride in loving and caring for her family.
Donna B. LeBaube, 67, of Osage Beach, formerly of Morton, Ill., was called home on Monday, July 3 at Lake Regional Health System.
Donna was born April 4, 1950, in St. Louis, Mo., to William and Shirleymae (Hanna) LeBaube.
Surviving are her son, Billy Cowan of Osage Beach; two daughters, Heather Cowan of Osage Beach; and Lacey (Mitch) DenHartog of Camdenton; three grandsons, Seth, Bennett and Jace; three brothers, William “Bill” LeBaube of Morton; Kim (Lorrie) LeBaube of DeWitt, Ill.; and Danny (Mindi) LeBaube of Roanoke, Ill.; three sisters, Nancy (Steve) Aupperle; Jaime Squier; and Nichole (Dave) Bailey, all of Morton. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dorwin Doty of Washington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
During Donna’s freshman year in high school, her father took a new job in Morton, relocating the family from St. Louis. Donna later moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., where she raised her family. She was a devoted mother who took great pride in loving and caring for her family. Her favorite things in life where those that involved her children; they were everything to her.
Donna was known for her cooking abilities. As co-owner of Tucket’s, Donna’s passion for cooking was renowned at the Lake of the Ozarks, especially her hot wings and cheesecakes.
She was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed sharing her delicious repertoire of fantastic recipes with her family and friends while watching the games.
Donna lived a very full life and was an amazing woman whom her family will miss tremendously. She was the first born in family that remains devoted to each other in every circumstance, never abandoning each other. She taught many valuable lessons that the family will always remember and cherish. “We love you mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, Godmother, friend, WWATW; until we meet again, sweet girl.”
A Visitation will be held Saturday, July 15 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
