Jerry had a successful 40 plus year career in the boating industry primarily in the Lake of the Ozarks region. He spent the latter years of his life as a faithful caregiver to his wife Eileen.

Jerry Batty passed away on June 8, 2017 at the Laurie Care Center with his bride of 63 years and family by his side. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is pre-deceased by his mother and father, Clarence and Sylveen Batty; son Robert Dale Batty; 4 sisters, 3 brothers and one great grand daughter Aria Batty.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Edith Eileen Batty; sons Tom Batty Jr.; David Batty; and Jim Batty; and daughters Beverly Hubbard; Mary Corley; and Carol DaCosta; and 19 grand children and 24 great grand children. He is also survived by his two younger brothers, David Batty and Joe Batty.

Jerry was born in Everett, Washington on July 1, 1928. He grew up in the area of San Andreas, California and graduated from Calaveras Union High School in 1947. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal from the Army in 1950.
