Born Poulo Konstantinos Fotopoulos in Omaha, Nebraska, he was the only surviving child of Greek immigrant parents Konstantinos Demetrios and Katina Fotopoulos.

Dr. Chris K. Fotopoulos, of Olathe, KS fell asleep in the Lord on May 12 surrounded by loving family at home. 

Born Poulo Konstantinos Fotopoulos in Omaha, Nebraska, he was the only surviving child of Greek immigrant parents Konstantinos Demetrios and Katina Fotopoulos.

Chris met his future wife, Donna Geisser, at Kansas City General Hospital and married on February 24, 1967. 

He practiced as a general surgeon in North Kansas City and Lake of the Ozarks during his career before retiring to emergency medicine.

Chris is survived by his wife Donna; son, Dr. Constantine Lan Fotopoulos and wife Aleisha; son, Dr. Christopher Don Fotopoulos and wife Kristen; grandchildren, Eleni, Demetri, Alexandra, and Stella Fotopoulos, and Cullen Kintner.

May his memory be Eternal. 

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 17 at the St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church 8100 W 95th St., Overland Park, KS 66212 with visitation 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church Overland Park, Kansas.
