Allan Dale Kilburn of Laurie, Mo. went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends after a long struggle with cancer.
He was born in Lincoln, Neb. on July 14, 1975 to Dale and Brenda Allen (Kilburn).
Allan is survived by Vinny; brothers Kyle, Jefferey, Nick and Derek; sisters ReAnna, Melissa, Emily, Casey, Angela, Alicia, Monique and Lisa; aunts TK and Sheila; uncles LeRoy and Bill; nieces JessaRae, Jaiden, Mariah, Gianna, Renata, Nevaeh, Amani and Sophia; nephews Taylor, Aaron, Austin, Dylan and Christian and daughter Teyonna.

He was also known for his famous quotes … Muah, Holla, Save it for group, Amen, Diva, fabulous, Jesus take the wheel! He had so many talents and accomplishments in his short life but persevered in all. From the many awards he won running track in high school, owning XY Hair Studio salon in Lincoln, Neb., being a hair artist at Lake Hair and Spa to making the best Bloody Mary’s at Vinny’s Cafe, bartending at Hurricane Dolly’s and recently starting a career in real estate at Shoreline Realty. One of his many dreams was to move to Europe over the summer and practice his Lancome cosmetic educator certification. He was loved by many, and he will never be forgotten.
Donations may be made to help with funeral and service expenses. Any donations left over will be sent to The Hope Lodge in St. Louis, Mo.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Jan. 16 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Laurie. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m. A celebration of life gathering will immediately follow the service.
