What was it?
A clear, sunny sky, mild temperatures and music mixed together provided a perfect backdrop for the summer’s biggest on-the-water boat bash at Dog Days at the 19-mile marker.

Thousands turned out for the all -day event.

Sponsored by MarineMax and Sea Ray as a customer appreciation party for their clients, the event is open for all boaters to enjoy.

Who came?
They came by land and water, from the lake and all over the Midwest to be a part of the celebration.

Despite being at one of the busiest locations on the lake, the Missouri State Water Patrol reported few problems.

Traffic moved through the area and boaters were cooperative. It was a well-behaved crowd, according to officers.

By the Numbers
1,000 boats-plus gathered to party

6 hours of entertainment

4-6 Water Patrol officers on duty

2 arrests, both for boating while intoxicated (same number as last year)
