A teacher/coach for the Versailles school district faces one felony sodomy charge following a month-long investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct with two female students.
Mark Garber was charged on Monday, April 20. Garber is a teacher and assistant football and wrestling coach at Versailles. He has been on administrative leave since March 19, a day after the allegations were brought to the attention of school officials.
Garber had been picked up for questioning on March 26 and held overnight by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.
The case has been set for trial at 9 a.m. May 21, 2009.
