It’s last call to sign up for the Monday demonstration teaching the basics of septic care maintenance at Rocky Top Bar and Grill in Laurie.
From 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, homeowners can enjoy dinner, learn how to watch for warning signs on their septic systems and register for another discount off their pumping bill.
Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance, A & A Septic and the Department of Natural Resources have joined forces to offer the dinners and pump-out rebates.
LOWA was awarded a grant through DNR to offer the discounts to qualified homeowners who sign up to have their tanks pumped out through the organization. A & A is offering additional savings.
Even if participants can’t make it to any of the dinners, LOWA can offer $25 off the bill by registering to have your septic tank pumped out through them and A & A.
Last year, LOWA held several lunch presentations throughout Camden County. Last month the demonstrations moved to Morgan County.
To register for the Rocky Top Bar and Grill demonstration, go to www.soslowa.org, or contact LOWA Executive Director Donna Swall at 573-374-8360.
The last scheduled presentation in Morgan County is 11:30a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at Osage River Bar and Grill in Laurie.
