Drug raid seizes coke, forged social security cards; two Hispanic illegals arrested

A combined raid by the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, the Camden County Sheriff's Office and the Osage Beach Police Department in the 4000 block of Sunset Drive in Osage Beach on June 25 resulted in the arrest of two Hispanic men allegely in the country illegally.
 

Confiscated during the execution of the warrant were approximately one pound of suspected marijuana, approximately 2ounces of cocaine, approximately $1000 in U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia including electronic scales, several apparent forged social security cards, and a 2000 Ford Taurus vehicle that was being utilized in drug transactions.


Two suspects were arrested at the scene. Both are being held in the Camden County Adult Correctional Facility. Arrested were:

1. Oscar Trejo Mejia, 27, of Osage Beach, is being held on charges of Violation of Federal Immigration Laws.  Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute are pending.  There is no bond at this time.
No bond has been set.

2.  Freddy Fermin Ramirez, 25, also of Osage Beach, is also being held on Federal Immigration charges and pending Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Distribute.  No bond has been set.
