What happened
Carrying signs, posters and tea bags, more than 300 protesters gathered at the footsteps of the Camden County Courthouse Wednesday.
Their message? To show April 15 will no longer be known as Tax Day but as a day of protest and rally.
Residents from all across the lake area came for the event, which featured former Missouri treasurer Sarah Steelman, for patriotic songs, speeches, prayers and to display their dissatisfaction with the current direction of government.
