WHAT: AmerenUE will present a surplus aerial bucket truck to the City of Versailles, where the vehicle will be used for such activities as tree-trimming, street light and park maintenance and installation of holiday lighting.

BACKGROUND: The truck is a 2001 Ford F550 37-foot bucket truck that was previously used by AmerenUE crews in the Wentzville area. The donation is part of a long-standing UE policy of donating surplus vehicles and other equipment to non-profit organizations when it is still useable.
