Driver Hazel failed to negotiate a curve. The 2007 Buick Lucerne Hazel was driving travelled off the right side of the road and struck large rocks, according to the crash report.

An accident on Highway 54 and Route V in Miller County results in injuries for the driver and passenger Thursday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, driver William L. Hazel, 45, of Lebanon, had minor injuries and passenger William R. Hazel, 76, of Lebanon, had serious injuries after an accident on Highway 54 and Route V in Miller County.

On Thurs., Nov. 1 at 7:41 p.m., driver Hazel failed to negotiate a curve. The 2007 Buick Lucerne Hazel was driving travelled off the right side of the road and struck large rocks. Both driver and passenger were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

The crash report indicated they were both wearing a seat belt.

The Buick was totaled.
