Fans of the Camdenton High School Marching Band will be able to take in a special free performance this week as a preview before the Lakers hits the road.
The band has had limited home performances this season during halftime due to the number of homes games and a competition. On Tuesday, Oct. 30 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Bob Shore Stadium, the band will present its field performance. Following that performance, the seniors and their parents will be recognized. A second full run through of the field performance will follow.
The band is headed to the Bands of Super Regional in San Antonio, Texas for the Bands of America Super Regional. The band leaves Nov. 1 and return on Nov. 4. Just days later, the band will be traveling to Bands of Americas Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, Ind. Nov. 8-11.
The band is under the direction of Paul Baur, featuring 209 members.
