Lake Regional Health System is pleased to announce the start of two new clinic managers. Amy Prater, R.N., oversees Lake Regional Clinic – Osage Beach, and Katherine Hawatmeh, MHA, MBA, oversees Lake Regional Clinic – Laurie.

Prater earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is close to completing a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in leadership and management, from the same university. She has more than 20 years of experience in nursing and has spent the last 10 years working in a military hospital and managing its primary care and specialty care clinics. She is originally from Dixon, Missouri.

Hawatmeh earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and both a Master of Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis. Her experience includes serving as an office manager for a doctor of internal medicine and as an administrative assistant at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, a role that included scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and training new staff. She is originally from St. Louis.
