The vehicle Long was driving slid on the wet pavement and went off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Lydia Long, 16, of Lebanon, had moderate injuries after an accident in Miller County Sat., Oct. 6.

An ambulance transported Long to St. Mary’s Hospital.

The accident happened at 11:50 a.m. on US 54 eastbound, 945 feet west of Atchinson Road.

Long was wearing a seat belt.

The vehicle Long was driving was totaled.
