According to the Lake Area Major Case Squad, Billy S. Medley of Lebanon and Jeffrey D.L. Stevenson of Macks Creek were charged Wednesday night. Stevenson is in custody. Medley is still being sought. They are charged with two counts each of murder, armed criminal action, burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.

Two suspects have been charged with murder and ordered held without bond for the shooting deaths murders of a husband and wife who's bodies were found outside their home early Sunday morning in Dallas County. 

According to the Lake Area Major Case Squad, Billy S. Medley of Lebanon and Jeffrey D.L. Stevenson of Macks Creek were charged Wednesday night. Stevenson is in custody. Medley is still being sought. They are charged with two counts each of murder, armed criminal action, burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.  

The arrest and charges come three days after the bodies of Brandy and Joseph Allen were found outside their home in Tunas. Investigators believe the homeowners heard a noise early Sunday morning and were shot and killed when they came outside to investigate. 

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said the homeowners appeared to have interrupted an attempted robbery. A truck taken from the Allen's home was  found near Macks Creek. Medley and Stevenson are also accused of attempting to steal an older El Camino from the residence. 

Officers from Dallas, Camden, Morgan and Laclede counties are assisting with the investigation as well as the Missouri Highway Patrol, Lake Ozark, Versailles. Laurie and Waynesville police departments and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group. 

The Allen’s had two children, a 14-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son who were not at home at the time of the murders. 

Investigators said Medley, 22, should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should notify Dallas County Sheriff's Office at 417-345-2441 or call 911 or your local police.
