The Chicks with Sticks, who meet weekly at the Climax Springs Library, presented Carolee Apperson with an afghan last month.  The Chicks pictured plus several more participated in creating blocks that were then assembled into this afghan. In fact Carolee even participated in the arrangement all the time not realizing it was going to be for her! The Chicks wanted to thank her for letting them meet at the library weekly for their time to socialize and create their knitted and crocheted items. Carolee creates an inviting atmosphere for the Chicks and is always accommodating, according to the group. THANK YOU Carolee.

The Chicks had collected almost 100 squares!  The remaining squares will be used to create more afghans for charities.  Anyone interest in becoming a CHICK - no dues, no experience knitting or crocheting needed (the Chicks can teach you), we don't have a pecking order, just enjoy meeting, sharing, while 'clicking our sticks'.  Join us every Tuesday, 11:00 to Noon at the Climax Springs Library.
