Two individuals have been arrested in an ongoing burglary investigation in Camden County.
Lucas E. Newman, 31, of Montreal, Missouri was arrested by Camden County deputies on two felony failure to appear warrants for property damage and stealing. He is being held at the Camden County Detention Center with no bond.
Macie S. Jenkins, 25, of Warsaw was arrested for misdemeanor receiving stolen property. Her bond has been set at $2,000 cash-only.
However both individuals remain at the county jail with more charges expected, a press release from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office stated.
Deputies executed a search warrant Tuesday at a residence in Montreal related to a burglary investigation.
While at the residence September 4, 2018, deputies Jenkins and Newman, both with active warrants. Several items known to be stolen were also allegedly discovered in the search. These items were the cause for the search warrant, the press release stated.
Multiple stolen tools from several area burglaries were recovered.
