Next Monday the country will reflect on the losses received at the hands of terrorist seventeen years ago. Lake Area Emergency Services will hold a Memorial on September 11th at 6pm remembering not only those who gave their life on that fateful day but also those who we have lost over the years in the Lake Area.

On September 11th 2016 the Lake Area Emergency Services dedicated the Lake Area Memorial, a gift to the community from Christian Gonnella as his Eagle Scout Project.
