Three people were injured in a collision between a car and a three-wheeler late Friday afternoon in Camden County.
Robert L. Haines, 56, of Deep Water, Missouri received injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. He was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. William A. Morgan, 18, of Eldon and Casey A. Shipley, 26, of Linn Creek received minor injuries. Morgan refused treatment at the scene and Shipley was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
Haines was driving a 2016 Polaris Slingshot, a three-wheeler, south on Highway 7 when a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Morgan reportedly pulled into his path while attempting to turn into a private parking lot. The crash occurred about 0.1 mile north of Route J.
The accident occurred around 4:10 p.m. August 31, 2018.
The Polaris was totaled. The Fusion had extensive damage. Both were towed.
The report indicated all three were using safety devices.
