The Marine Corps League, Lake of the Ozarks Detachment presented owners and staff of Pistols Plus with a plaque of appreciation to mark the store’s assistance in the Detachment’s annual pistol raffles. On August 23rd, Detachment Armorer Charlie Morris presented the honor to Pistols Plus owner Pam Reis. Morris noted that Pistols Plus has processed all the federally mandated paperwork associated with the Detachment’s raffles, verified the eligibility of raffle winners, and functioned as both federally approved shipping and receiving agents . . . all on a gratis basis. Morris stated “our Marine Corps League Detachment is truly grateful for the contributions of time and effort that Pam Reis and her staff at Pistols Plus have graciously given to the community and to our service organization”.

The Marine Corps League includes former and active duty Marines and FMF Corpsmen who share their pride and spirit in our Nation’s Marine Corps. League members come from all walks of life and many different periods of Marine Corps history, but share that special bond as brothers and sisters of a unique band of warriors who have served or are serving our nation at home and abroad.
