James Edward Allison, age 58 of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away August 15, 2018, at his home in Lebanon.

Jim, as he was known to family and friends, was born September 17, 1959, in Berwyn, Illinois to Jack and Carol Fern Hunter Allison.

He graduated from high school and attended college, where he obtained a Machinist certificate. He worked for several years at Detroit Tool in Lebanon. He was also the owner and operator of Senor Peppers Restaurant and Cantina in Lebanon.

Jim is survived by his fiancée, Ronda Smith of the home; two sons, Brad Allison and his wife Miranda and Jeff Allison, all of Ozark, Missouri; three daughters, Lana Smith and Nicole Walters and her husband Chris all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Taylor Anderson and her husband Jacob of South Carolina; three sisters, Candice Wilson of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Pamela Walters of Camdenton, and Vicki Hartenstein and her husband Jonathan of Lake Ozark; nine grandchildren, Alivia Allison, Kendall and Aiden Brown, Benjamin Walters, Dalyn Clevenger, Hope Kay and Bailey Ogle, and Flynn and Willow Anderson; nieces and nephews, Casey, Cristin, Corey and Jack; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life for Jim Allison will be Sunday, August 19, 2018, from 2-4 p.m., at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel (1001 N. Lynn Lebanon, MO 65536)

There will be a burial at a later date. At his request his body is to be cremated under direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

Memorials have been suggested to the family of Jim Allison and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
