Kelly McClanahan Russell, 55, of Eldon passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Kelly McClanahan Russell, 55, of Eldon passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born on September 1, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of William Clark and Carol (Fraser) McClanahan. She was united in marriage on November 11, 2011 in Olean, Missouri to Herb Russell, who survives of the home.

She was a 1980 graduate of Camdenton High School and attended college at University of Missouri-Rolla. She worked for Legend Land Services as a Title Research Specialist in Lake Ozark. She worked many years ago as an Emergency Medical Technician with Mid-Mo Ambulance District and with the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Kelly was an avid Kansas City Chiefs Fan and Kansas City Royals Fan. She was the President of the Mid-Mo Muscle Car Club, where she spent many hours supporting annual poker runs and fundraisers. She loved raising German Shepherd dogs and was raising her new puppy, Chief. Kelly loved her family and the time they spent making memories will be forever cherished and remembered.

She is also survived by her mother: Carol McClanahan of Overland Park, Kansas, four children: Jesse Russell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Parker Russell of Cincinnati, Ohio, River Russell of Columbia, Missouri and C. J. O'Bryan of Laurie, Missouri; one brother: Mitch (Gayle Livingston) McClanahan of Overland Park, Kansas and one sister: Kimberly Wroldsen of Overland Park, Kansas and three grandchildren: Ryan Russell, Noah Russell and Jace Campbell. She was preceded in death by her father, William Clark McClanahan in 1991.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Drake, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Eldon. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mid-Mo Muscle Car Club Charities.
