Chris Alan Sharp, 66, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri entered into Heaven after an 18 year battle with brain cancer on Monday, July 16, 2018. 

Chris was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 12,1952 to Bud and Marie Sharp. 

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Cynthia Sharp of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, his daughter Christy Font and husband Mike, their five children Taylor and Halle Brother and Ben, Zach, Luke Font of St. Louis, Missouri, his son Jeremy Sharp and wife Tara, their three children Josee, Christopher and Colton of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and step-daughter Jodie Petrovic of Eldon, Missouri, her four children Trey and Brittany Clary, Kelsey and Kayla Petrovic and one grandson Cyrus Holman. He is also survived by his first wife Teena Sharp of Buckner, Missouri and step-sister Connie Weyer and her husband Dave of Sunrise Beach, Missouri. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Bud Sharp, and his step-mother Peggy Sharp. 

Chris owned and operated Sharp Welding and American Propeller from 1983-1999 and was a welder fabricator by trade. He was a faith-filled family man who enjoyed life to the fullest. His passions included water skiing, woodworking, hot rods and cooking extraordinary meals for anyone who gathered in his home. He loved being of service to his community and church because of his abundant love for Christ. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh and was always quick to return with his own infectious laugh. 

Chris lived his life with strength and determination giving his family a remarkable role model. 

A Memorial Service is being held at The Door Christian Church located at 212 Faith Boulevard in Laurie, Missouri on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., followed by a service officiated by Pastor Thom Jones. A meal will be served for family and friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks. Contributions will also be accepted at the Memorial Service.
