The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce was honored to have the opportunity to present several appreciation plaques as well as contribution checks from the efforts of the 2018 Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals Car Show.

Lake Area Chamber Executive Director K.C. Cloke attended the City of Lake Ozark June 26 Board of Alderman meeting and presented Mayor Franzeskos with a plaque of appreciation for the City’s participation and support, along with a check presented to Chief Launderville of the Lake Ozark Police Department for the assistance provided with traffic control.

K.C. Cloke presented the Camden County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) with a check for their assistance in providing volunteers and for managing the volunteer traffic control. Cloke, along with car show chairman Bert Westbrook, presented Chief Amsinger at a recent Lake Ozark Fire Protection District (LOFPD) board meeting with a plaque of appreciation for the department's assistance in planning and implementing the safety to all car show participants and spectators.

Cloke and Westbrook also presented the Lake Area Big Brothers Big Sisters with a contribution check for providing much of the needed volunteers for the show.

“I’m both thankful and proud to receive such wonderful support from our community year after year for this event. It certainly takes much more than just our Chamber’s team and board to ensure its success and we couldn’t do it without our volunteers and community members,” stated Cloke.

Total contributions from the 2018 Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals equaled $3000 back to the community.
