Douglas A. Bizer, age 61, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away on June 15, 2018 after a battle with cancer.
Doug was born on October 17, 1956 in Tuscola, Illinois to Rev. Arnold and Luetta Bizer and grew up in Alhambra, Illinois. He graduated from Highland High School in 1974. Then he attended Elmhurst College and graduated from Parks College in 1978. Doug was an airline pilot with Comair and USAir.
He was married to Jeanette (McKinney) Bizer for 12 years. He loved being on the lake, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his nieces, nephew and grandsons.
Doug is survived by his wife Jeanette, mother Luetta (Sabbert) Bizer, sisters Barb (Dan) Coughlin, Cami (Richard) Taylor, nieces Sarah Coughlin & Reagan Taylor, nephew Ben Coughlin, step children Ryan (Kelsey) Luebbert, Roxanne (Tony) James and step grandsons Cash, Briar, Logan and Landon. He is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Bizer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lake Ozark Disciples of Christ, 1560 Bagnell Dam Blvd., Lake Ozark, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America or Hoyleton Children’s Home.
