The Miller County Sheriff’s Department and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task force are looking for information on a suspect who fled from a truck stop near Eldon during a stop for suspected drug activity.

Complaints of ongoing drug deals on the parking lot of the El Rancho truck stop led officers to a vehicle parked on the lot with out-of-state license plates. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Michael Regehr, fled the parking lot as officers were attempting to take him into custody. Regehr is wanted on a possession charge.

According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Department, a second suspect, Rebecca Vize, was a passenger in the vehicle. She was taken into custody for possession. Vize is being held on $25,000 bond.

The sheriff’s department is looking for Regehr. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 573-369-2341.
