A Camdenton man was injured after his motorcycle struck a deer in Camden County early Wednesday morning.

Ronald L. Baker, 67, received injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. He was taken by personal conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital.

Baker was driving a 2005 Honda Goldwing north on Route D around 5:15 a.m. May 23, 2018 and struck a deer 367 feet south of Turkey Pen Hollow Road, the report states. Baker lost control of the bike and ran off the right side of the roadway. 

The report indicated Baker was wearing a helmet. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed.
