A Gravois Mills woman was arrested following a crash Monday night west of Laurie.

Suzanne P. Seigfreid, 64, was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 11:22 p.m. May 21, 2018 for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident. She was released for medical care.

According to the MSHP crash report, Seigfreid was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo north on Hyde Park Drive — five miles west of Laurie — when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. 

Seigfreid received injuries described as minor and was taken by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital.

The report indicated Seigfreid was wearing a seatbelt. Damage to the Aveo was extensive.
