Collins, Mildred “Millie”, of Linn Creek, Missouri, was born February 12, 1927, in Smackover, Arkansas to Alma “Roy” and Julia (nee Huddleston) Carter and entered into rest Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at the age of 91 years, 2 months, and 28 days.

Collins, Mildred “Millie”, of Linn Creek, Missouri, was born February 12, 1927, in Smackover, Arkansas to Alma “Roy” and Julia (nee Huddleston) Carter and entered into rest Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at the age of 91 years, 2 months, and 28 days.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 63 years, Lawrence “Jewel” Collins, one sister, Mable Sronce, three sister and brother in laws, Mary (the late Jack) Jackson, Dennis (Jean) Collins, Wilodean Crump, and Hazel (the late Vance) Eaton.

She is survived by three nieces and nephews, Diane (the lateFrank) Parkinson, of Paragould, Arkansas, Debbie (Woody) Brewer, of House Springs, Missouri, and Pam Pannell, of Cedar Hill, Missouri; one great niece, Lisa “Brewer” Short; one great great niece, Amanda Short; one great great nephew, Joshua (Brooke) Short; one great great great nephew, Colton Williams and many more family members and friends, who loved her dearly. Mildred was a hardworking woman. She was very involved in her church and enjoyed traveling with her husband Jewel.

Mildred is remembered as being a generous and caring woman who would open her doors to anyone. You could often find her cooking meals for everyone around her. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
