Richard Lee Greene, 82, of Osage Beach, Missouri and formerly of Lexington, Illinois passed away in his home on April 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 25, 1935 in Towanda, Illinois, the son of Albert and Mildred Green.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Corlyne (Corky) Greene; four daughters, Cindy Gordon of Gardner, North Carolina, Joni Adreon of Lady’s Island, South Carolina; Shelli Sample and husband Bill of Boca Raton, Florida and Melissa Carvalho of Brevard, North Carolina; two step sons, Trent and wife Cheryl Shull of Osage Beach, Missouri and Tony Smith and wife Elizabeth of Bloomington, Illinois; two sisters, Kaye Magnuson and husband Dale of Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania and Sharon Blakeney of Red Lion, Pennsylvania; one brother, Larry Green of Batavia, Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Richard spent most of his career building numerous, custom homes in Lexington and surrounding areas. He retired to Lake of the Ozarks in 1990 and worked as a bus driver for the Camdenton School District until 2013. He loved spending time with his family and friends and brought so much joy to all of those around him. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and loved listening to and dancing to country music. He loved traveling and had visited all 50 states throughout his lifetime. He was a kind, generous and loving husband, father and friend. The joy he brought to our lives will be dearly missed as well as his fried fish and excellent margaritas!
