Mary F. Schutzenhofer, 81, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Mary F. Schutzenhofer, 81, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. Mary was born October 12, 1936 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Novosak) Havel.
On November 27, 1956 in East St. Louis, Illinois, Mary was united in marriage to Joseph (Joe) Schutzenhofer. Together they shared over 61 years of marriage at the time of her death.
Mary was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Joe, and a wonderful, caring mother, and grandmother to her children and their families. She was a dedicated homemaker and created many beautiful memories for her family to cherish. Mary took care of herself by going to cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation for over 20 years. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed several hobbies including ceramics and sewing. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Above all, Mary's great joy in life was her family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Mary is survived by her husband, Joe; her sons Richard J. Schutzenhofer of Atlanta, Georgia and Robert K. Schutzenhofer and wife, Darla, of Fulton, Missouri; her daughters Lisa L. Eastman and husband, Jack, of Jefferson City, Missouri and Mary Rene' Schutzenhofer of Lake Ozark, Missouri; two grandchildren Ethan and Nate Schuztenhofer; her sister Barbara Klein of Waterloo, Illinois; along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Havel.
Services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
