First National staff accountant, Zhengjia McDevitt, has successfully graduated with an “A” from the Missouri Bankers Association School of Bank Management, according to a press release from the bank. This is two-year program to prepare mid-level and junior level bankers for their career in bank management. The two-year course of study encompasses 13 bank function areas which include economics, financial planning, financial analysis and bank operation. A part of the training was to use a bank simulation model that provides the opportunity to make decisions and be able to see the bank’s profitability results. Also the school presented a great networking opportunity with other bankers. She truly appreciates that the First National Bank management team has given her the learning opportunity.
